Brellis Update: Placements, Trends & New Clients
Since opening our doors, Brellis Recruitment has now supplied 145 different businesses and placed over 780 people into new roles. That’s hundreds of careers started and just as many businesses supported with the talent they need
Looking at trends for 2025, the forecast is steady. Hiring activity isn’t at the peaks of a couple of years ago, but stability has returned, with businesses focusing on permanent hires and making more considered, long-term recruitment decisions.
One of the most significant advantages during the leaner periods has been our customer concentration. No single client accounts for more than 11% of our work, with the top five together representing under 28%. This breadth has been a massive benefit, providing us with resilience when individual sectors have slowed, and ensuring we continue to thrive by supporting a diverse mix of industries.
This month, we’re pleased to share that we’ve added three brand new clients to the Brellis portfolio:
A large international components company based in Leamington.
A boutique health and wellbeing drinks brand growing in the Warwickshire countryside.
An organisation at the forefront of retrofit projects, helping homes and businesses become more energy-efficient and sustainable.
We’re delighted to be partnering with them and excited about the opportunities ahead.

🌟 Star Candidates – August & September Edition
This month, we’re spotlighting a few exceptional individuals who’ve really stood out to us, talented professionals ready to bring fresh energy and proven ability to their next role.
We’ve personally interviewed each of them and can vouch not just for their skills, but for their attitude, professionalism, and drive to make an impact.
Whether you’re actively recruiting or simply planning ahead for future hires, these are candidates well worth your attention.

The Fastest Hire of the SummerSome recruitment stories show exactly why speed and quality matter. On Wednesday, 17th September, a Warwickshire business in the energy-efficiency and retrofit sector contacted us with an urgent need for a temp. By Thursday 18th, terms were signed. She made such an impact that the client offered her a permanent contract straight away. From enquiry to permanent hire in just 48 hours — that’s efficient recruitment in action. Hats off to Zoe, who drove the whole process. Quick, personal, and right first time — that’s the Brellis way. | ![]() |

Who We’ve Placed Recently
It’s been a busy couple of months at Brellis HQ, with a brilliant mix of placements that show just how varied our client base really is.
We’ve placed an HR Consultant into a global logistics company keeping Britain moving, and a Customer Service Advisor into a fast-growing drinks packaging design firm with cans flying off the shelves.
A HR professional joined a family-owned automotive parts group that still believes good business starts with good people, while a Bookkeeper found their new home with a company that turns campers into happy road-trippers.
At leadership level, a CEO has taken the reins at a growing care provider with big ambitions to raise standards in live-in care.
We also placed an Administrator with an energy-efficiency specialist making homes greener, plus a string of customer-focused hires:
Two Customer Service Advisors, three Customer Collections specialists, and a Credit Controller joined a national energy brand.
Two more Customer Service hires joined a well-known photo printing company that turns memories into keepsakes.
And finally, one of our long-standing temps at a precision engraving business had their fixed-term contract extended - proof that great work really does speak for itself.

A New Home for Brellis
After months of planning (and more than a few builders’ brews), our new Brellis office was completed over the summer, and it’s finally ready for action.
The new space has been designed around collaboration and connection. It gives our team room to share ideas, work side by side, and create an even better environment for delivering excellent results. It’s also the perfect place to welcome both new and long-standing clients, whether for a chat, a coffee, or to plan their next hire.
The move has already brought a fresh sense of energy and focus to the team and we’re looking forward to making plenty of great memories (and placements) here

Beauty and the Bailiffs
Back in 2022, we placed a candidate with a local aesthetics supplier in the West Midlands.
Within weeks the shine had worn off, the candidate we place told us the office atmosphere was toxic, bailiffs were turning up, and then came the kicker: they refused to pay our invoice.
Excuses rolled in. They sent partial payments that didn’t add up, claimed the candidate magically worked for a “different” company, and generally tried every trick in the book.
Big mistake. Our watertight terms and detailed records meant the judge had no trouble ruling in our favour and issuing a CCJ.
That should have been game over. But thanks to a clerical error at HMRC, the CCJ wasn’t logged properly, leaving us without leverage. Most people would have walked away. We didn’t.
Fast-forward three years, multiple debt collectors, and finally a High Court writ later… bailiffs knocked on one of their other businesses, and suddenly repayment didn’t seem so difficult after all. First instalment’s in—the rest is on its way.
The lesson? Good terms protect you. Perseverance pays off. And bailiffs don’t mess about.

Wrapping Up
As summer draws to a close, it’s been a great reminder that momentum doesn’t stop just because the sun’s out. From new client partnerships to lightning-fast placements, to finally moving into our new office, the past couple of months have been full of progress, energy, and a few good stories along the way.
The market still has its ups and downs, but one thing hasn’t changed: businesses are hiring carefully, not cautiously, and the demand for strong candidates remains steady across most sectors.
We have a busy autumn ahead, with more opportunities, introductions, and a few exciting projects in the pipeline. If you’re planning to expand your team or would like to discuss market trends, we’d love to catch up (preferably over a cup of coffee in our new office).
Here’s to a strong finish to the final quarter of 2025 and to making the rest of the year count.
